Account & Data Deletion
At PlayOn, we respect your right to control your personal data. If you wish to permanently delete your PlayOn account and all associated information, you can do so by following the steps below or submitting a request through the form on this page.
This Action is Permanent & Irreversible
Once your account is deleted, all your data — including profile information, watch history, game scores, wallet balance, earned rewards, and preferences — will be permanently erased and cannot be recovered. Please make sure you have withdrawn any remaining wallet balance before proceeding.
How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your PlayOn account using any of the following methods:
From the App
Open PlayOn App → Go to Settings → Tap Account → Select "Delete My Account" → Confirm with OTP verification.
Via Email
Send an email to privacy@playon.in from your registered email address with subject: "Delete My Account".
Using This Form
Fill out the deletion request form below. We will verify your identity and process the request within 72 hours.
What Data Gets Deleted?
Here's a detailed breakdown of what happens to your data once the deletion request is processed:

Legal Retention Notice
Certain financial transaction records may be retained in anonymized form for up to 5 years as required by Indian law (RBI regulations & IT Act, 2000). These records cannot be linked back to your identity after account deletion.
Processing Timeline
- Request Acknowledgment: Within 24 hours of submission
- Identity Verification: OTP sent to registered email/phone
- Account Deactivation: Immediate after verification
- Complete Data Erasure: Within 72 hours
- Confirmation Email: Sent upon complete deletion
Before You Delete
We recommend you take the following steps before requesting deletion:
- Withdraw any remaining wallet balance
- Redeem any pending rewards or prizes
- Download your transaction history from the app
- Cancel any active subscriptions
- Export your data from Settings → Privacy → Download My Data
